Kastraki is a tradtional village nestling at the foot of Meteora, it's stone houses and interesting churches built in the midst of abundant greenery. This is where a many visitor to the area admires the incomparable beauty of the landscape.

Kastraki is also 2km away from the town of Kalambaka and the Municipal Department of the Municipality of Kalambaka.

Kastraki is mainly a starting point for climbers who come from various places of the planet to go hiking or climbing.
